Incidents:
06/24/12 A juvenile called police to report that a man came up to the house and was turning the doorknob trying to get in the residence. The juvenile said there was a man outside the home in Monterey and was pacing back and forth with a flashlight. The porch light was on. A parent arrived home and advised that all the children were ok.
06/24/12 A Star City resident called police after seeing three subjects attempting to steel copper wire.
06/24/12 Police were called to a location in Winamac where a fight was reported between a man and woman.
06/24/12 The Francesville Fire Department was called to a fire on 1050 W. The caller stated that a fire was started in a burn barrel and reportedly left it unattended. The next time the caller checked, a fence and a shed were on fire.
06/24/12 A personal injury accident was investigated by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department in the vicinity of State Road 39 just north of 400 North. Caller advised that a person was out by the roadway and the vehicle was in the ditch.
06/24/12 A two vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 35 by the Broken Arrow Campground north of Winamac. Several occupants sustained injuries in the accident. The Good Samaritan helicopter was called to the scene and arrests were made.
06/23/12 A Francesville resident called police to report some unknown person(s) kicked in the door to his garage. Nothing was stolen.
06/23/12 The Winamac Police Department took a report of two stolen bicycles taken from a residence.
06/21/12 The Winamac Police Department was notified of a person sleeping under the trees and bushes on the west side of the Courthouse. The officer talked to the subject who said he was getting married there at 10:00 a.m. morning and wanted to spend the night there. The officer told the subject to get his business taken care of and move along.
06/21/12 A Denham resident asked police to file a theft report of items taken from an old truck stored on his property.
06/21/12 A Winamac resident reported the theft of scrap metal from his property.
06/21/12 The Winamac Police Department was notified of children throwing rocks at another kid.
06/21/12 Officers from the Winamac Police Department were notified by a Winamac resident who told them that a padlock was cut off a storage unit and items were stolen.
06/21/12 An Indian artifact was reported stolen.
06/21/12 A warning was given to Winamac residents in regards to the discharge of fireworks.
06/21/12 A caller advised police that a man was sitting in a lawn chair by the side of a road on U.S. 35 and 700 North with what looked to be a gun. Police talked to the subject who said he was waiting for a groundhog that was damaging his agricultural property. The man was advised to take care of the problem in a different manner.
06/21/12 Vandalism was reported in the Medaryville Cemetery.
06/20/12 The White County Sheriff’s Department called upon the Star City Fire Department for aid in fighting a fire.
06/20/12 Police were called to a car vs. deer accident on US 421. The driver stated that he was in a great deal of pain.
06/20/12 A Francesville police officer was flagged down by a resident who stated there was a break-in a his residence.
06/20/12 The Francesville Police Department was notified of a stolen vehicle.
06/20/12 An employee of a Winamac business advised the Winamac Police Department that a subject was on scene and stole items.
06/20/12 The Monterey Fire Department was called to help Starke County fire units with a silage pile on fire.
06/18/12 A Medaryville resident told police that some unknown subject(s) shot her van with a BB gun.

Incidents:
06/24/12 A juvenile female was visiting the 300 block of Franklin Street, when her 2001 white Buick Century vehicle was stolen while parked in the street. She had left the keys in the vehicle. North Judson Police continue the investigation.
06/23/12 A resident in the 200 block of State Street reported to North Judson police that she had 10 of her family’s bicycles stolen sometime during the night. The estimated value for all 10 bicycles was $585.00. This incident is still being investigated. North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely is asking you to please call police if they observe any suspicious activities in your neighborhood. “This is the third bicycle theft incident at night this month, and we need your help when you see possible suspects roaming the streets and alleys in the middle of the night. Just call the police department and let us check them out. It’s better to be safe than sorry,” Vessely stated.
06/23/12 Three residents of Cherry Street reported to the North Judson Police Department that they had flowers stolen sometime in the night. The residents requested extra patrols in the area.
06/23/12 The North Judson Police Department was called to the 500 block of Magnolia Street in reference to an unwanted male subject. North Judson Deputy Police Chief Joe Budner responded to the call. The male subject, a family member, left prior to the North Judson Police arriving. The male subject was later found at a North Judson Town Park. The male subject was advised to not to return to the property or he will be arrested for Criminal Trespass.
06/22/12 The North Judson Police Department responded to a theft complaint in the 300 block of Dahlke Street. The resident advised that a skate board was stolen off her front porch. She estimated the value of the skate board was $70.00. This incident is still being investigated.
06/22/12 North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Central Avenue and N. George Street. After a brief investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Jeremy Frederick, 24, of Wheatfield, was found to be intoxicated. Officer Thomas arrested Frederick for a felony charge of Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated. Frederick was transported to the Starke County Sheriff’s Department without incident.
06/20/12 The North Judson Police Department received a call from the North Judson Library in reference to an unwanted male subject. North Judson Police Officer Darren Conley arrived at the library. After a brief investigation, Officer Conley found out that the male subject was harassing some females on the computers and asked the male subject to leave. The male subject complied with the request and left the library.
06/17/12 A fight was reported at a local business. This incident is still being investigated.
06/17/12 The North Judson Police Department received a call about an intoxicated male at the intersection of Main and Keller. North Judson Officer Kelly Fisher arrested Cary P. Dolembo, 36, of Westville for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officer Fisher was assisted by Starke County Posse Member, Jim Coldiron.
06/15/12 A resident found a bike in the wooded trail area of the Town Park. The bike was taken to the North Judson Police Department for safe keeping.
06/15/12 A resident in the 600 Block of Garden Street reported a blue Mongoose bike stolen. The estimated value is $80.00.
06/15/12 A North Judson Park Board member contacted the North Judson Police in reference to some vandalism done to shelter #1 at the North Judson Town Park. This incident is still being investigated.
06/14/12 A resident in the 500 block of Vine Street reported to North Judson police that he had some items stolen out of his storage locker on Talmer Avenue. Two items were taken approximately three weeks ago. An antique diver’s helmet with an estimated value of $400.00 and a set of golf clubs with an estimated value of $100.00 were stolen. This incident is still being investigated.
06/12/12 Family Express contacted the North Judson Police Department in reference to a wallet found on a shelf in the store. North Judson Police picked up the wallet and returned it to the resident who it belonged to. The resident stated that he lost it while walking with his son the night before. The owner asked four juvenile males to help look for the wallet. Missing from the wallet was approximately $190.00. This incident is still being investigated.

06/26/12 Matthew Zink reported the theft of construction materials.
06/24/12 Robert Meadows called police to report that he was in an accident on U.S. 35 and hit a railroad crossing arm and caused damage. The crossing arm caused damage to his windshield and hood and the vehicle did damage to the crossing arm. Meadows was issued a citation for disregarding a railroad gate.
06/22/12 Richard June reported the theft of three bicycles.
06/22/12 Joe Short told police that two black CD visor cases and several CDs were stolen from his vehicle. He was having the vehicle repaired at the time of this incident.
06/21/12 An employee at Zingo Express reported theft of gasoline in the amount of $75.
06/21/12 Mary Mueller reported the theft of the license plate off her vehicle.
06/20/12 Knox City Police officers were notified of graffiti spray-painted on the walls at the back of the Key Bank building.
06/20/12 A 17-year-old driver called police to report that she was involved in an accident with another vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 35 and Clabaugh Drive and the other vehicle left the scene.
