Sand Hill Farm Developer Kevin Berger recently reached out to community members to remind them about an exciting opportunity through the Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County.
The Sand Hill Farm development will be providing a site for a Habitat for Humanity home and the organization is still looking for a local family to fill it.
Officials are anticipating that the site will be made available later this year and construction will most likely begin in 2019. Interested parties are encouraged to apply now as they need to assess whether or not they fulfill certain eligibility requirements. Continue reading
The Culver Town Council adopted several ordinances during their regular meeting on Tuesday night.
An ordinance that rezones the BP Good Oil property on 203 and 213 Main Street was unanimously approved on second and third readings. The ordinance now allows the parcels to be zoned C-1 so renovations can be made at the site. Developer Kevin Berger previously explained that the house at 213 N. Main Street will be demolished to allow for the extension of the convenience store. The current structure may be partially demolished in the process to make way for an improved store front. The store front will face southeast as opposed to the current eastern facing.
The Culver Town Council members conducted two public hearings to consider rezoning requests for two properties.
If approved, the BP Good Oil gas station on 203 and 213 Main Street will undergo a renovation project. According to Developer Kevin Berger, the plan is to demolish the house at 213 N. Main Street and extend the convenience store into that area. The current building may be partially demolished in the process to make way for an improved store front. The store front will face southeast as opposed to the current eastern facing.
