The Eastern Pulaski School Board has adjusted the pay structure for substitute teachers. Board members approved the change this month, at the recommendation of Superintendent Dara Chezem. “Our sub pay is extremely difficult to track, based on the current policy,” she explained. “Currently, subs get paid one rate for their days one to 20 and then another rate for days 20 plus, and that’s not consecutive days.”
