Ribbon Cutting Planned to Celebrate Culver Park Project

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned to celebrate the completion of the social gathering space and playground project at the Culver Town Park.

The event is planned for Thursday, June 8 at 6 p.m. ET at the Culver Train Depot at 615 E. Lakeshore Drive.

These projects were a result of the 2019 Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar grant through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs.  OCRA Executive Director Denny Spinner is expected to be a part of the day’s festivities along with other dignitaries and stakeholders in the process.

The project included parking lot improvements, a plaza with added seating and improved accessibility with sidewalks, added lawn space, Farmer’s Market space, playground redevelopment, the installation of a swinging covered bench, a performance stage, and cornhole boards.
