The Winamac Park Board is looking to remove as many dead trees from the Town Park as possible, before the end of the year. Board members voted Thursday to hire Practical Tree Service to cut down 32 trees for a cost of $5,600.
Winamac Park Board to Get Update on Pool Grant Application
The Winamac Park Board will get an update tonight on grant funding for its swimming pool rebuilding project. The town is applying for $200,000 in matching money from the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund. The total cost of rebuilding the pool is expected to be between $500,000 and $600,000.
