Ora Man Arrested at Plymouth Walmart for Theft, Possession of a Legend Drug
A report of a theft at the Plymouth Walmart led to the arrest of an Ora man, but not before police reportedly found drugs in his possession. Plymouth Police say that around 10:00 Thursday night, they got a call of a theft in progress. When officers got to Walmart, they say they found Charles E. Jensen, 45, cutting items out of packages. Police took him into custody and reportedly found him to be in possession of a legend drug.
Ten Arrested in Warrant Sweep
Ten people were arrested in the early morning hours on Sunday in a year-long undercover investigation called Operation Orthodox conducted by the Knox City Police Department.
Officers from the Knox City Police Department were assisted by the Starke County Sheriff’s Department and the Knox, North Judson and Plymouth Police Departments in executing the arrest warrants.

A Plymouth theft investigation led to the arrests of two people on drug-related charges Monday. Plymouth Police say that around 10:00 a.m., a vehicle was pulled over in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive.
Two Arrested on Warrants for Dealing Drugs
Plymouth Police officers arrested two people in separate incidents who were wanted for dealing drugs.
On Monday, Jan. 8, officers stopped 29-year-old Wayne Austin Hardesty, of Grovertown, who was reportedly speeding and found that he had an active warrant for two counts of dealing in a schedule III drug. He was booked in the Marshall County Jail on those charges with a cash bond of $10,005.

With cold weather continuing, local communities are taking steps to make sure residents have a warm place to stay. In Starke County, residents may use Community Services of Starke County’s Knox location at 311 East Culver Road weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Two Knox Men Arrested in Plymouth, Following Report of Shoplifting
A report of shoplifting allegedly led to the discovery of methamphetamine in Plymouth Friday night. Plymouth Police were called to the Walmart parking lot shortly after 7:30, after store employees accused two men of shoplifting.
