Plymouth Man Arrested For Meth Possession, Battery

A Plymouth man was arrested on methamphetamine and domestic battery charges after an incident Wednesday night.

Plymouth police were called to 903 W. Jackson Street where a domestic battery incident took place. An investigation revealed that Jason Kratzchmar reportedly battered his wife. He was taken into custody at that time on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery and Interfering with Reporting a Crime.

He was charged with an additional count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine after evidence of methamphetamine was found in Kratzchmar’s vehicle. His wife called police to report she found methamphetamine-related items in his truck. He was incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Man Arrested For Credit Card Fraud

A Plymouth man was arrested on credit card fraud this week after an investigation by the Plymouth Police Department.

An employee at the Kroger store in Plymouth notified police on Monday that her credit card was stolen and that the suspect made unauthorized charges on the card. An investigation found that Robert Wagers, 41, of Plymouth had taken the card and unlawfully charged items on the card.

Wagers was arrested the next day on preliminary charges of Theft and Credit Card Fraud. He was taken into custody at the Kroger store and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Brock Biddle Arrested on Sexual Misconduct Charges

A Plymouth man was arrested on a charge of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor after an alleged incident in March.

Plymouth Police received information from a 15-year-old victim that sexual activity had occurred between her and 26-year-old Brock Biddle in March of this year.

An investigation was conducted and the details were forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office where an arrest warrant was issued.

Biddle was arrested on Sunday on the arrest warrant. He remains in the Marshall County Jail on $10,000 cash bond.

Plymouth Police Investigating Gas Station Burglary

Plymouth Police Department officers are investigating a break-in at the Marathon Gas Station at 2405 N. Michigan Street.

On Monday morning at 5:48 a.m. ET, unknown suspects smashed in the front door of the business, entered the establishment and stole cigarettes. They then exited the store and left in an unknown vehicle.

Plymouth police revealed that the suspects had their faces covered so their identities were not immediately known.

Plymouth Man Arrested after Domestic Battery Incident

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday after a domestic battery incident.

Plymouth police officers were dispatched to a residence after a call came in about a domestic disturbance. The suspect, Joshua C. Sommers, reportedly left the home. Officers arrived on scene and found a female with wounds. Dispatchers then advised officers that the vehicle Sommers was driving was involved in an accident in the area of 1010 Ferndale Ave.

Habitual Traffic Violator Arrested For DUI In Plymouth

Two people were arrested recently by the Plymouth Police Department.

Officers conducted a traffic stop at Garro Street and Fifth Street in Plymouth on Tuesday evening. Police say Elias Luva Cantero, 35, of Plymouth was stopped at 9:42 p.m. on a routine traffic stop, but police soon learned that Cantero is an habitual traffic violator, and on top of that, he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Three Arrests Made By Plymouth Police

Two minors were arrested at McDonald’s in Plymouth after they were found to have illegally consumed alcohol.

Plymouth police say that at 2:21 a.m. on Sunday, 20-year-old Leandra M. Munoz of Plymouth and Alexandrea M. Decker, 19, of Plymouth were arrested after police learned they were not only under the influence of alcohol, but underage.

The pair was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on charges of Minor Consumption.

Plymouth police also arrested 21-year-old Troy Siple of Bremen. Police say he was arrested at the probation department around 10 a.m. when police learned there was a warrant out for his arrest. He has been booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Man Arrested On Charges of Battery, Neglect

Christopher Z. Warren of Plymouth was arrested Monday after an unnamed complainant approached police with a juvenile and informed them that the child had been battered.

An investigation revealed that on Aug. 5, Warren had allegedly battered the dependent child during the evening hours, striking him on the back with his fists and hands, causing bruising. Police say the incident occurred in the 3000 block of North Michigan Road, but the name of the juvenile victim has not been released. Warren lives in a mobile home park in that block with his girlfriend, their 10-month-old son, her 10-year-old daughter, and his 8-year-old son.

Warren was arrested and charged with Battery as a Class D felony and Neglect of a Dependent as a Class C felony. His bond has been set at $20,000.

Three Arrested For Theft At Plymouth Walmart

Three individuals were arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing items from Walmart in Plymouth. According to Plymouth police, Walmart employees informed police that three suspects from South Bend were reportedly stealing items from the store at roughly 10 p.m.

When police arrived, they learned that Cesar C. Cruz was also in possession of a fraudulent identification card not issued by the government. Cruz, along with Heather M. Cruz and Saralee H. Tillinghast, were arrested on charges of Theft.

Tillinghast was also found to have an active arrest warrant through Elkhart County. The trio was booked into the Marshall County Jail with an initial court date of Sept. 4.

Two Arrested At Walmart For Possession of Precursors

Plymouth Police Department officers arrested two people on Friday night after receiving a call from Walmart employees who stated that the individuals had purchased methamphetamine precursors.

One suspect, Jennifer Snellenberger of Angola, took items back to Walmart, giving officers a chance to run her driver’s license information through the system, and they learned she had a suspended driver’s license.

Plymouth Teen Arrested For Manufacturing Counterfeit Cash

A Plymouth teen was arrested Friday after an investigation by the Plymouth Police Department.

Police received a phone call from Walmart employees stating that a young man had just purchased items using counterfeit money. The suspect 19-year-old Dakota Vandall, was detained at the store and police discussed the incident with him.

Police reportedly found 11 counterfeit $20 bills in his possession. During questioning, Vandall allegedly admitted that he had copied some twenty dollar bills to make the counterfeit bills. The act was performed at his residence where police found two more counterfeit bills.

Vandall was arrested on a preliminary charge of Forgery/Counterfeiting. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and placed under a $5,000 cash bond.

Two Arrested In Response To Anonymous Tip In Plymouth

The Plymouth Police Department arrested two people after a tip was called into the police department.

On Friday afternoon, a call was received about a strong chemical smell at the Carriage Green Apartments at 1052 Ed Cook Blvd. Three officers approached the complex and one of the suspects reportedly tried climbing a third floor balcony. Upon kicking down the door, police found an active methamphetamine lab along with a two year old child. The two were taken into custody and the child was taken to protective custody and transported to the hospital.

Twenty-four-year-old Jessica Goad and 29-year-old Jason K. Wolff were arrested and they have preliminary charges of Manufacturing and Dealing in Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a School and Neglect of a Child.

Culver Man Arrested For Being Under the Influence of Drugs

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested a Culver man after he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

On Monday, a resident called to report that a suspicious man was staggering in the parking lot at 881 Broadway Street. When officers arrived, they found Dominic Sheets and he was incoherent. He was taken to the Plymouth Police Department to get out of the heat and his condition worsened. EMS was called to the scene and Sheets was transported to the hospital. A drug screening was conducted and it was found that he had several different drugs in his system.

He was arrested on preliminary charges of Public Intoxication with a Controlled Substance in the Body.

Knox Woman Arrested For Stealing From Parked Cars

A Knox woman was arrested Wednesday on a charge of theft after an investigation by the Plymouth Police Department.

On Tuesday, June 26, an employee from AutoPark called the Plymouth Police Department to report a customer going through employee cars in the parking lot. Police were told that a video was taken of the suspect entering one car and placing something in her pocket.

Nineteen-year-old Arrested For Theft Of Laptop, Wallet

The Plymouth Police Department on Monday arrested 19-year-old Andrew Benson on charges of Theft, Credit Card Fraud, Forgery, and Resisting Law Enforcement following an investigation into items stolen from a vehicle parked at the Plymouth High School.

Police received a call on June 20 stating that a Dell laptop computer and a wallet containing credit cards and gift cards were stolen from a vehicle parked at the high school, and police soon learned that the cards had been used shortly after they were stolen. Three Plymouth businesses reported the cards were used at their locations.

Three Arrests By Plymouth Police Department

A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday after Plymouth Police officers were notified of a suspicious man entering a vacant home at 754 Thayer Street. Police arrived on scene to find 40-year-old Ronald D. Obenchern inside one of the bedrooms. After an investigation, Obenchern was arrested on a preliminary charge of Residential Entry.

Two Winamac residents were arrested Tuesday after Plymouth Police officers found them in possession of controlled substances and precursors used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in their vehicle. Ricky Howard, 23, and Kenneth R. Craft, 27, were arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Illegal Drug Lab.

Plymouth Police Note Increase In Theft Incidents

Theft incidents are on the rise in Plymouth.

The Plymouth Police Department has arrested three different people in a week for theft of items from Walmart. The most recent arrest was Monday, June 11, when Michael Dalton of Plymouth reportedly concealed and failed to pay for lithium batteries. Dalton had paid for Coleman fuel and drain cleaner, but did not pay for the batteries.

Plymouth Man Arrested For Possession Of Methamphetamine Near Public Park

A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday night after officers from the Plymouth Police Department found him to be in possession of over three grams of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a public park. Seth Enders, 39, was taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

This is not his first run-in with the Plymouth Police Department.

Three Arrested In Plymouth on Battery Charges

The Plymouth Police Department made three battery-related arrests over the weekend. Jeremy S. Morrison, 21, of Plymouth was arrested the morning of May 27 on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery and Criminal Mischief after an incident at 914 S. Michigan St. He is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail.

Police also arrested 18-year-old Renan A. Hernandez of Plymouth following an incident at 800 Sycamore St. on May 27. He faces a preliminary charge of Battery and is being held in the Marshall County Jail.

Manuel Baca, 29, of Plymouth was also arrested and faces preliminary charges of Domestic Battery and Reporting a Crime. Police were called to 400 South Fifth Street in Plymouth at 11:35 p.m. on May 25, and, following an investigation, arrested Baca and transported him to the Marshall County Jail.
