The Starke County Commissioners opened three bids last week for the proposed Community Crossings Matching Grant project this year. The project calls for the resurfacing of 700 E. from State Road 8 to County Road 625 S. in Knox.

The Eastern Pulaski School Board will decide today whether to move ahead with a large-scale paving project on the schools’ campus. The work would include resurfacing the driveways and most of the parking lots. Plans also call for sidewalk repair and traffic flow updates.
