North Judson Man Hurt in Tuesday Morning Crash

Unemployment Rates Down from Last Year in Starke, Pulaski Counties
Unemployment rates are down from last year in Starke and Pulaski counties. Both saw their rates decline by four-tenths of a percent between October of 2016 and October of 2017, according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
Five Seriously Injured in LaPorte-Area Crash Sunday
Five people were seriously injured Sunday, after police say an SUV pulled into the path of an oncoming semi truck near LaPorte. Eastern Pulaski School Corporation to Work with Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation
Eastern Pulaski is the latest school corporation to agree to take part in the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation. Its goal is to help underprivileged students with the cost of field trips, school supplies, and other minor expenses that may otherwise be out of their families’ reach. On Monday, the school board agreed to allow Eastern Pulaski’s three principals to work with the foundation to help direct grant money to students in need.
