INDOT says the right westbound lane of State Road 2 will be closed from Madison to Teegarden streets starting at 5:00 a.m. The hospital will be transferring its patients to the new facility.

Snowmobile Crash Sends LaPorte County Man to Hospital
A LaPorte County man was seriously injured in a snowmobile crash early Monday morning. Indiana Conservation Officers say it happened around midnight in a field near Hanna. Investigators believe Charles Zbuka, 38, was riding across the field at about 40 miles per hour, when he crashed into a large ditch.

A rural LaPorte County man is dead, after reportedly crashing a vehicle into a tree early Monday morning. Officers with the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office believe 34-year-old Bryan Meyer was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound on Fail Road about a mile north of LaPorte around 3:00 a.m., when it left the east side of the roadway and struck a tree.
