EMS Director Travis Clary told the commissioners this week that they met with Health EMS officials on Friday to go over the new report writing software. The new software will allow the office to report required statistics to the state. The previous software was no longer compliant in this capacity.

Trustees with the Fostering a Recovery Mind Set (F.A.R.M) program at the Starke County Justice Center will have their farm stand set up again this Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. As reported in the past, the F.A.R.M garden was expanded this year, resulting in a surplus of produce that is being offered to the community.

Emergency responders were called to a two vehicle accident Sunday evening at the intersection of U.S. 35 and State Road 10 at the south Bass Lake junction. One person was airlifted from the scene.

Both Nichole and Adam Hardy face multiple charges after being linked to a theft at Zingo Express that was reported earlier this week.
