The Winamac Park Board will have some extra money to work with, thanks to donations to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County. Town manager and park board member Brad Zellers told the town council last week that this year’s payout from the foundation’s Winamac Park Fund is just over $27,000. That money is typically used to help with projects, rather than day-to-day expenses.

Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo told the Winamac Park Board Thursday that he’s planning to hire a company for a tree maintenance project after the first of the year.
