Proposed changes to the 2019-2020 Student Handbooks will come before the Eastern Pulaski Community School Board for consideration when they meet tonight.
Tonight’s spotlight on success will focus on the Eastern Pulaski Elementary School and school board members also will be asked to consider approving an out of state field trip as well as a few different donations. Dates and capacity for transfer students in the 2019-2020 school year will be considered and members will discuss summer school courses and instructors.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. ET in the schools’ Conference/Meeting Center.

The Winamac Park Board has approved an agreement for the inspection of the Town Park’s “swinging bridge.” Indianapolis engineering firm Butler, Fairman & Seufert will do the work for $6,500. That’s a bit more than it cost during the last inspection cycle. During Thursday’s meeting, board member and town manager Brad Zellers said the difference is that this inspection will include a check for lead paint.

Knox Street Superintendent Jeff Borg informed Board of Works members last Wednesday that crews are currently preparing the city’s roadways for some upcoming Community Crossings work.
Borg explained, “The process is consisting of measuring and ordering manhole riser rings, edging the streets and then getting them ready for the asphalt.”
