NJ Officials Alerted About Funds Available for Future Expenses Related to Engineering Services for Water System

Commonwealth Engineer Intern Sarah Prizio recently informed North Judson Town Council members about some additional funds that will be available for future use.

She noted that as Commonwealth reps were finishing up the Town’s asset management plan, it was discovered that they’re about $20,000 under budget for inspection services.

Winamac High School Principal Placed on Administrative Leave Due to Misconduct Allegations

Winamac High School Principal Jeremy Tucker has been placed on paid administrative leave. In a statement Wednesday, Eastern Pulaski Superintendent Dara Chezem said the leave took effect January 24, due to allegations of misconduct. Chezem said the school district has launched a thorough investigation.

Hamlet Council President Looking to Encourage Home Development on Jefferson Street

Hamlet officials continue exploring ways to boost housing development, such as employing the help of companies like New Home Construction in Eugene.

The town council is working on getting a home built on a piece of town-owned land at Lincoln and Pearl streets. But there are also several privately-owned lots that might benefit from some incentives that could lead them to consider home additions and new constructions, according to Council President Dave Kesvormas.
