Knox School Teachers, Students to Test eLearning System
Knox Community School teachers and students will not be in the classroom on Friday. Sept. 1st in order to test the school’s new eLearning system. Teachers will post classroom assignments to the learning management system Canvas by 9 a.m. that morning.
Knox Community School Corporation eLearning Day on September 1st
Students and teachers at Knox Community Schools will not be in the classrooms on Friday, September 1st but thanks to technology, class will still be in session. Knox Schools to Implement eLearning Days
The Knox Community School Corporation will implement the use of eLearning Days during the 2017-2018 school year.
According to Director of Curriculum and Instruction Peggy Shidaker, when inclement weather creates a school cancellation all students K-12 will log into the district Learning Management System, Canvas, to access learning targets and assignments for the day.

Dr. William Reichhart, who most recently was the Superintendent of Schools at Manchester Community Schools, was named the new superintendent during last night’s Knox Community School Board meeting.

Knox Schools Schedule Back-to-School Night
Students in the Knox Community School Corporation return to class on Thursday, Aug. 4. Parents of students in all grade levels are invited to a back-to-school night on Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 4 until 6 p.m. at their child’s school. Also, 6th grade orientation will take place at 6 p.m. tonight in the middle school cafeteria.
