A boil water order remains in effect for residents on the northeast side of Knox. Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston says the water is back on, following an earlier water main break. Knox residents are reminded that tonight’s the night to learn more about the Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Grant P
Tonight’s 6 o’clock meeting at the Nancy J. Dembowski Center will focus on this funding opportunity provided through the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.
IHCDA officials report that this is a way to help residents address home conditions that, if otherwise left unattended, would create an issue with the integrity of the home or become a detriment to the residents’ quality of life.
Applications for the program will only be available during this meeting.
