LiquiForce Crews Complete Sewer Lining Project in the City of Knox
A major sewer lining project that was being conducted in the City of Knox has been completed.
Wastewater Department Superintendent Kelly Clemons discussed the project with members of the Board of Works when they met last Wednesday. She mentioned that the videos taken during the project were received and viewed.
She added that the invoice for the project was submitted and noted that it was for about $1,400 more than the original bid that was submitted by LiquiForce back in the summertime. Continue reading
Knox Board of Works Members Consider Request from Main Street Homeowners
The Knox Board of Works members considered a request from residents at 205 S Main Street when they met this week.
Mayor Dennis Explained that the homeowners were seeking permission to place a dumpster in the road in front of their home as they complete some roof work. He explained, “They absolutely have no room in their yard to put a dumpster and they can’t put it in the alley because of the garbage and all that.” Continue reading
Knox Police K-9 to Receive New Ballistics Vest Thanks to Generous Donation
The Knox Police Department’s K-9 O’Neill will soon be equipped with a brand new ballistics vest thanks to a generous donation.
Sergeant Chad Dulin, who serves as the city’s K-9 officer delivered the monthly report for the police department at Wednesday morning’s Board of Works meeting.
During the report, Sergeant Dulin said a $1,000 donation was received and those funds were utilized to order a new vest for his K-9 partner. Continue reading
